Nepal showcased its diverse tourism experiences at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, held from 3–5 November at ExCeL London, highlighting wellness, adventure, culture and sustainable tourism.
Led by Hon. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Paudel (Ganesh), Nepal's delegation included the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and 32 tourism companies representing hotels, airlines, travel agencies and tour operators.
The Nepal Pavilion attracted international visitors with its traditional hospitality, cultural presentations and authentic Nepali atmosphere.
A key focus of Nepal's participation was promoting Nepal Wellness Year 2027, highlighting yoga, meditation, spiritual healing and wellness tourism alongside Himalayan trekking, wildlife safaris and cultural heritage.
During the event, Minister Paudel held high-level meetings with tourism representatives from India, the UAE and Sri Lanka to strengthen tourism cooperation, air connectivity, investment and cultural exchanges.
He also participated in the 20th WTM Ministers' Summit, emphasizing climate change risks to mountain tourism and the importance of community participation, crisis management and sustainable tourism development.
Nepal further highlighted its achievements in wildlife conservation, including zero-poaching initiatives and the growth of its tiger population, as well as adventure activities such as mountain biking, rafting and high-altitude marathons.
Another major highlight was Nepal Evening in London, organized jointly by the Embassy of Nepal and NTB on 4 November. Around 70 guests attended the event, which promoted Nepal's tourism potential, culture, cuisine and investment opportunities.
Through its participation at WTM London 2026, Nepal reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a leading destination for wellness, adventure, culture and sustainable tourism, inviting international travelers to explore the country's unique experiences beyond the Himalayas.
